At Encino Detox & Recovery Center, our approach to residential drug and alcohol treatment is holistic and personalized, focusing on healing the whole person. Each stage of treatment is carefully planned and personalized to meet the medical, psychological, and emotional needs of every client.
Step 1. Clinical Assessment & Admission
The process begins with a comprehensive clinical assessment conducted by our admissions and medical team. This evaluation reviews substance use history, mental health status, medical needs, and safety considerations to determine the appropriate level of care. Once admitted, clients receive 24/7 supervision in a secure residential setting.
Step 2. Medical Stabilization & Support
For individuals requiring detox or medication support, medical stabilization is provided under clinical supervision. Our team monitors withdrawal symptoms, manages cravings when appropriate, and ensures physical safety and comfort as clients begin treatment.
Step 3. Individualized Treatment Planning
Each client receives a personalized treatment plan based on their assessment findings. Plans are tailored to address substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health conditions, trauma history, and recovery goals. Treatment modalities may include CBT, DBT, trauma-informed therapy, motivational interviewing, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) when clinically indicated.
Step 4. Structured Therapeutic Programming
Clients participate in a structured daily schedule that includes individual therapy, group counseling, psychoeducation, and behavioral health support. This consistent routine helps build accountability, emotional regulation, and healthy coping skills essential for sustained recovery.
Step 5. Dual Diagnosis & Holistic Support
For clients with co-occurring mental health conditions, integrated dual diagnosis treatment is provided alongside addiction care. Holistic services such as mindfulness, movement-based therapy, and wellness-focused activities support whole-person healing.
Step 6. Aftercare Planning & Transition
Before discharge, our clinical team develops a comprehensive aftercare plan to support long-term success. This may include outpatient treatment, sober living placement, ongoing therapy, or peer support resources to ensure continuity of care after residential treatment.
